375 Weatherby

Ready for that trip to the dark continent ? If you are, here is a rifle ready to go along ! This is a 375 Weatherby, installed in a Charles Daly Magnum action. This is the same action as the Interarms MKX. She has a three position safety, jewelled bolt, and the ejection port has been lengthened. Timney trigger at a crisp three pounds. Classic McMillian stock, black with grey web, 13 5/8 length of pull, capped with a McMillian recoil pad. Sighted with Talley Quick Detachable rings with levers, 1 inch low rings.  New England Custom Guns front sight, white bead with hood, backed up with a Talley Pop Up Peep sight on the rear scope base. Barrel supplied by Lilja, matchgrade stainless steel, 23 inches, # 5 contour. Everything except the bolt is coated with matte black Cera-Kote for a weatherproof finish.

This rifle is the first of a new patent pending recoil lug system. What that means in layman terms, you aint going to break this stock from repeated firing. Look for more info on this system coming out soon.

Lets talk about the caliber: The 375 Weatherby is a cartridge very similiar the the H&H version, but has the Weatherby radius shoulder. The unique feature here is you can fire 375 H&H or 375 Weatherby or even mix them if you like. Think of it this way: you've taken 50 rounds of 375 Weatherby in your baggage, and the airlines have lost it.Yell But dont fret.....your outfitter will have enough 375 H&H in his hunting coat for you to make your hunt. You make no changes, no different feeding, only sight in with your new ammo the same as you always do before going on a hunt.

She has a Leupold 1.5 x 5 scope mounted. Going for $6200 without scope, $6500 scope included.
